It amazes me what a one year old picks up. I have learnt that they listen to everything you say and watch everything you do. There have been several things over the last few weeks that have shown me just how observant Ethan is. He has noticed things as simple as new light fixtures installed on the ceiling.
Ethan started doing something over this last week and when he did it the first time we were amazed! It just went to show that he has learnt from our example through watching and listening. We always say a blessing on the food in our home. Since Ethan was able to eat solids we have always said a blessing on his food with him and before hand tell him that we were going to say a blessing. Last week without any encouragement he folded his arms for the blessing at dinner time! We were amazed! Then at the end he said "Ama." We are sure it's Amen because he always says it now after the prayer is over. Now anytime we are going to eat he folds his arms for the prayer.
This just amazed me and taught me how our actions and words teach our children for the good or bad. We try to teach Ethan good things in our home and that one little thing showed us that we are doing a pretty okay job with our little man.

How cute! You'll use this story over and over in lessons and talks, I'm sure!
This is so true! What a cutie pie!
