Last night we made cookies. During the process Ethan was holding the can of Pam... like the jumbo size can and he dropped it on his toe. His toe was black and swollen within 10 seconds and he was SCREAMING!! He cried for a few hours then he finally settled down and fell asleep. He woke up at about 11 last night screaming. This went on for a few hours. He was delirious with the pain and we couldn't do anything to comfort him. He finally settled down at about 1:30 and watched a show then slept in our bed. Today he keeps telling us he has an "owwie toe" and wants for us to kiss it better. We're pretty sure it's broken. This picture doesn't do it justice, it's pretty bad and painful looking.

Poor little guy! Broken toes are the worst because there's nothing you can do except wait for it to heal and putting ice on little kids' injuries only seems to make them angrier... at least it does for my kids. :) Hope Ethan gets better soon!
